Youth Resiliency Building Program Group (In-Person)

Encompass Adoptees’ youth program is for kids adopted, in fostered care, or in kinship care between 7-12/13 years old. It combines elements of both a support group and a mentoring program, and offers parents 3 hrs of daytime respite. The program curriculum is designed to offer activities and interactions that promote reliance building, character development, and support in processing experiences related to being adopted, fostered, and/or kinshipped. For more details please see our youth program page under the “Groups” tab.

The program is deveeloped and facilitated by adult mentors who have lived experience and are available to youth throughout the program at a ratio of one mentor per one-two youth.
