Presentation given given by adult adoptee and therapist Kristen Santel

Workshop Summary: Participants of this training will spend the morning exploring how adoption relates to trauma, and gain insight and education in the areas of complex and developmental trauma, as well as attachment theory and injury. In the afternoon participants will gain knowledge on activities and interventions regarding how to help those affected by adoption and attachment trauma, and to increase effective coping skills to help repair attachment and facilitate ongoing healing.
*Ohio Assessors: You may use this workshop on adoption trauma as your post-Tier training requirement.
Cost- $30 individual, $50 for couples
9:30am-4:30pm (includes time for 1 hr lunch, lunch not provided, but believe there is a microwave if you want to pack something)
